Geomagnetic Latitude Dependence of Electron Temperature in the Ionosphere

From the data obtained at Akita, Wallops, and Fortchurchill, the electron temperature distribution depending to geomagnetic latitude is discussed. Electron temperature patterns in both quiet and disturbed days show that the electron temperature is affected by corpuscles as well as the solar x rays. The effect is remarkably seen in the ionosphere at Wallops that is in 49' deg in geomagnetic latitude.
