S>The basic equations for potential scattering are given, and the analytic properties of the Green's function and of the scattering amplitude for fixed momentum transfer and fixed energy are examined. The representation so derived is used with the unitarity condition to obtain the exact scattering amplitude without using the Schrodinger equation. (D.C.W.)
