REFLECTION AND REFRACTION OF MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMIC WAVES AT THE BOUNDARY OF TWO ANISOTROPIC PLASMA MEDIA (in Russian)

S>Equations were derived for reflection and refraction of magnetohydrodynamic waves at the boundary between two anisotropic plasma media. Derived amplitude ratios indicate only alpha reflection and refraction waves for alpha wave incidence and, respectively, only fast and slow magnetoacoustic wave reflection and refraction in fast and slow magnetoacoustic waves. Moreover, short reflection and refraction waves appear at an anisotropic alpha rate close to zero. Studies indicated that the wave reflection and refraction at the boundary are similar to reflection and refraction at a rigid wall. (R.V.J.)
