Investigations of the superconductivity in the systems of Ti--Rh and Zr-- Rh showed the influence of the valence electron concentration. In the hexagonal densely packed alpha phases as well as in the cubic space-centered BETA phases of both systems, the transition temperature increased with the valence electron concertration. The hypothetical transition temperature of the Rh--free BETA -phase of the Ti or Zr is lower than that of the hexagonal alpha phase.
