Separation of Pr and Nd by electrolysis in aqueous solutions of acetate salts in presence of lithium tartrate as reagent was achieved with separation coefficient from 30 to 60. Optimum conditions for 0.02M Pr and 0.02M Nd were found with 0.34M lithium tartrate 7.7 mu a/cm/sup 2/ current density, at 20 deg C and electrolysis time of 60 min. (R.V.J.)
