THE TECHNICAL APPLICATION OF RADIOISOTOPES (in Dutch)

Journal Article · · Ingenieur (Utrecht) (Netherlands)ng (U.S.)
OSTI ID:4647218
The number of industries and applications does not increase yearly at a rate which might be expected according to the many favorable aspects of radioisotope use in industry. This is because of shortage of trained employees, lack of harmony of regulations and laws, inefficient administration and licensing procedures, exaggerated requirements for fire-safety in installations, insurance problems, and lack of published directions for waste disposal. A great number of examples for isotope applications are given which may illustrate the potency of this new tool for industry. (auth)
