The relativistic spherical functions for the finite dimensional and unitary representations of the Lorentz group are used to derive the solution of the Feynman-Gell-Mann equation in spinor space. A four-dimensional spin-orbit coupling operator and its relation to the Lorentz group irreducible representations are discussed. (C.E.S.)
