Measurement of the Branching Ratio and Form Factor of {ital K}{sub {ital L}}{r_arrow}{mu}{sup +}{mu}{sup {minus}}{gamma}

We report on a measurement of the decay {ital K}{sub {ital L}}{r_arrow}{mu}{sup +}{mu}{sup {minus}}{gamma} from Fermilab experiment E799. We observe 207 candidate signal events with an estimated background of 10.5{plus_minus}4.0 events and establish {ital B}({ital K}{sub {ital L}}{r_arrow}{mu}{sup +}{mu}{sup {minus}}{gamma})=[3.23{plus_minus}0.23(stat){plus_minus}0.19(syst)]{times}10{sup {minus}7}. This provides the first measurement of the {ital K}{gamma}{gamma}{sup *} form factor in the muonic Dalitz decay mode of the {ital K}{sub {ital L}}.
