A review of the manufacturing processes, which include cold and hot rolling, of uranium sheet, followed by annealing to recrystallize the deformed structure is presented. Determination was made of the physical properties that are affected by temperature and various impurities. Data are given for the various difficulties caused by the metal reactivity, radioactivity, anisotropic thermal expansion, and allotropic changes during the manufacturing processes. (Rev.
