S>Studies were made of incompressible conducting flow under a gravitational pressure in a plane infinite channel. An accurate solution was found for the non-stationary problem involving an external magnetic field tramsverse to the channel walls. A solution was also found for stationary flow in crossed magnetic and electric fields. (R.V.J.)
