DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRON CONCENTRATION ALONG THE RADIUS OF A POSITIVE COLUMN GAS DISCHARGE (in Russian)

The process of electron distribution along the radius of a positive column discharge at low pressure ( approximately 1 mm Hg in a 2-cm radius, 50-cm length tube) was evaluated using an optical method. It is shown that the nearly constant radial distribution is established within several microseconds. (tr- auth)
