ANGULAR DISTRIBUTION OF PROTONS FROM THE d(d,p) REACTION

Journal Article · · Nuclear Physics (Netherlands) Divided into Nucl. Phys. A and Nucl. Phys. B

The angular distributions of protons from the d(d,p) reaction were observed from 120 to 200 kev incident deuteron energy by use of a thin gas target. For the detection of the protons, Kodak NTB nuclear plates of thickness 100 mu m were used. Some details of experimental equipment and procedures are described. The angular distribution observed can be represented in the c.m. co-ordinate system by the expression (1 + A cos/sup 2/ theta ), for which the values of A are given. (auth)
