Interactions of 25 gev protons with protons and heavy nuclei in nuclear emulsions
In nuclear emulsions 1228 interactions of 27 Bev and 20.5-Bev protons were found in a systematic way by track following. The mean free path is (35.1 plus or minus 1.5) cm at 27 Bev and (35.6 plus or minus 1.5) cm at 20.5 Bev. A list of the type of all interactions (N/sub h/N/sub s/) is presented. A survey about the mean number of heavily ionizing tracks (Nh) and of shower particles(N s ) is given as a function of primary energyE.
