ON A METHOD OF MASS DETERMINATION FOR THE MUON-NEUTRINO
Experiments were performed to refine the upper limit on the mass of the muon-neutrino. The experiments consisted of investigating the shape of the high energy end of the meson ( mu /sup -/) or proton spectra in the LAMBDA yields p + mu /sup -/ + nu /sub mu / process. Other experiments consisted of investigating the shape of the high energy end of the photon spectrum in pi /sup +/ yields gamma + mu /sup +/ + nu /sub mu / and the shape of the high energy end of the meson ( mu /sup +/) spectrum in K/sup +/ yields pi /sup O/ + mu /sup +/ + nu . Experimenta l data are given. (C. E.S.)
