THE THEORY OF ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE REFLECTION FROM PLASMA (in Russian)

Equations were derived for electromagnetic wave reflection from a semi- infinite plasma, considering plasma fluctuations and the difference between reflection angles and frequency and incidence angles and frequency. Theoretical studies of incoherent electromagnetic wave reflection from plasma, ordinarily, are limited to the solution of scattering at angles < pi /2. However, in this work the coefficient of incoherent electromagnetic wave reflection was determined considering the boundary. The boundary played an important part in cases in which the incident or reflected wave frequency was comparable to the plasma frequency and in cases of sliding incidence or reflection. (R.V.J.)
