Dogs were maintained on a diet containing 35% of the solids as irradiated chicken, beef, or pineapple jam. An evaluation of growth, food consumption, feed efficiency, hematologic values, urine analysis, and histopathologic findings showed no indication that inclusion of irradiated foods in the diet was harmful.
