MOUSE CARCINOGENICITY STUDY. Final Report, March 1, 1957-May 30, 1963

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4619711
A diet containing irradiated tuna, fruit compote, beef, corn, and sweet potatoes was fed to several strains of mice for the duration of their life. The mice were observed daily and then tissues were examined grossly and studied histopathologically for the occurrence of tumors. The irradiated diet had no effect on weight, food consumption, life spin, or tumor incidence of the mice when compared with controls maintained on noniradiated foods. The tumors found were classified according to type. (C.H.)
