Linear transport in correlated stochastic media

Conference ·
OSTI ID:459182
Boolean models of stochastic media allow calculation of density correlations without recourse to markovian assumptions. Systems of partial integrodifferential equations are obtained (1) in a perturbative scattering matrix formalism, (2) by truncation of the hierarchy of moments. Localization is obtained through an equivalence between the product of a transport Green function by an exponential with the Green function of a modified problem.
