{sup 129}Xe NMR studies of coadsorption of Xe and CCl{sub 4} in NaY zeolite reveal that CCl{sub 4} in the supercages suppress the gas-liquid transition of Xe in the same cage, but the {sup Xe} gas-liquid transition in supercages with CCl{sub 4} can influence CCl{sub 4} distribution in the zeolite. 10 refs., 6 figs.
