By analyzing the {sup 139}La-NQR the authors have studied the magnetic properties of localized holes for both the orthorhombic (LTO) phase of pure as well as for the low temperature tetragonal (LTT) phase of Eu doped (La,Sr){sub 2}CuO{sub 4}. Correlated to the different superconducting properties of these phases the authors find pronounced differences in the magnetic characteristics estimated from the nuclear spin relaxation data. They are discussed in terms of variation of localized holes properties depending on the low temperature symmetry of the structure.
