This report uses time-resolved infrared spectra to study unsaturated photoframents of transition-metal carbonyl compounds, specificly ({eta}{sup 5}-C{sub 5}H{sub 5})Mn(CO){sub x} (x = 2 and 1) generated by laser photolysis.
