From tetraquarks to hexaquarks: A systematic study of heavy exotics in the large {ital N}{sub {ital c}} limit
- California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California 91125 (United States)
A systematic study of multiquark exotics with one or {ital N}{sub {ital c}}{minus}1 heavy quarks in the large {ital N}{sub {ital c}} limit is presented. By binding a chiral soliton to a heavy meson, either a normal {ital N}{sub {ital c}}-quark baryon or an exotic ({ital N}{sub {ital c}}+2)-quark baryon is obtained. By replacing the heavy quark with {ital N}{sub {ital c}}{minus}1 heavy antiquarks, exotic (2{ital N}{sub {ital c}}{minus}2)-quark and 2{ital N}{sub {ital c}}-quark mesons are obtained. When {ital N}{sub {ital c}}=3, they are just the normal triquark baryon {ital Qqq}, the exotic pentatquark baryon {ital Q{bar q}} {bar q} {bar q} {bar q}, tetraquark dimeson {ital {bar Q}} {ital {bar Q}qq}, and the hexaquark dibaryon {ital {bar Q}} {ital {bar Q}{bar q}} {ital {bar q}} {bar q} {ital {bar q}}, respectively. Their stabilities and decays are also discussed. In particular, it is shown that the ``heavy to heavy`` semileptonic decays are described by the Isgur-Wise form factors of the normal baryons.
