Various aspects of random vibrations and reliability of engineering structures are presented. Some theoretical models of excitation based on the continuous and point stochastic processes which can be applied as a model of wind load, waving of the sea, seismic excitation acting on the offshore structure, as a model of machine load, traffic flow, etc., have been shown. Fatigue degradation of structure capacity and its influence on the reliability is also presented. The expressions for calculation the probabilistic characteristics of the structure response and the failure rate are given.
