This paper provides a comprehensive review of the available correlations for prediction of condensation heat transfer in smooth and enhanced tubes. Emphasis is on those correlations of significance coefficients to the air conditioning and refrigeration industries. The topics discussed include (1) flow patterns for condensation inside horizontal tubes, (2) correlations for condensation inside horizontal smooth tubes, (3) correlations for condensation inside enhanced tubes.
