Fuel, materialism and coolants for WR-1
Technical Report

OSTI ID:4528366
Pressed and sintered UO{sub 2} is well known as a fuel for water cooled and moderated reactors. In WR-1 however there is a combination of UO{sub 2} fuel sheathed in zirconium alloys, cooled by an organic fluid flowing in a zirconium alloy pressure tube which is unique in nuclear reactor experience. The behaviour of this system to date will be described. (auth)
