Three-dimensional boundary inverse heat conduction problem: Theory and applications

Methods based on solving boundary inverse heat conduction problems are widely used at present in experimental investigations of thermal processes between the solids and the environment. To solve three-dimensional ill-posed boundary inverse problems an iterative regularization method is used. The method is based on gradient methods of the first kind and on principle of the residual. The accuracy of the inverse problem solution obtained by the suggested algorithms are analyzed.
