D0 and CDF are two large, powerful, multipurpose detectors with outstanding tracking, calorimeter and muon systems that have done an excellent job in exploiting the Top Quark, b Quark, QCD, New Phenomena/Exotics and Electroweak Physics at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The upgrades of the D0 and CDF detectors will further enhance their capabilities for physics at the Tevatron. The addition of a magnetic field and silicon vertex chamber will open up new physical opportunities for D0, and the replacement of the plug and forward gas calorimeters with new scintillator based calorimeters will give CDF uniform calorimetry over all {eta}.
