Profiles of the photospheric and circumstellar H$alpha$ line in the spectra of type M supergiants

Journal Article · · Sov. Astron. AJ (Engl. Transl.), v. 16, no. 6, pp. 962-964
OSTI ID:4433632
H alpha profiles for six Ml-M5 supergiants have been derived from high- disersion programs. Equivalent widths, central depths, and half widths have been measured. The circumstellar cores of the H alpha line are discriminated, yielding their equivalent widths and radial velocities relative to the photosphere. (auth)
