Determination of trace elements in Iranian cigarette tobacco by neutron activation analysis

The concentration of 24 trace elements in the tobacco of two different brands of Iranian cigaretts, Zarrin'' and Oshnoo'', was measured by neutron activation analysis employing a highresolution Ge(Li) detector. These elements are: Na, K, Sc, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Zn, Se, Br, Rb, Ag, Sb, Cs, Ba, La, Ce, Sm, Eu, Tb, Hf, Au, Hg, and Th. (auth)
