Sandia Pulsed Reactor III (SPR III): predicted performance characteristics
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4419615
The predicted performance characteristics of the Sandia Pulsed Reactor III (SPR III are presented. The principal design criteria are to provide an irradiation cavity ~18 cm in diameter and ~40 cm long, and a fluence of 6 x 10/ sup 14/ nvt (near-fission spectrum) neutrons in a single pulse with a width, at half maximum intensity, of less than 60 microseconds. 9 references.
