The pulsed-plasma-based reactor is currently created for the biggest in Moscow region thermal Kashira Power Plant. The reactor is intended to increase a precipitation of fly ash, SO{sub 2} and NO{sub x} from flue gas. The principal parameters of the electrostatic precipitator and pulse power supply for streamer corona discharge are as follows: gas flow rate - 300000 Nm{sup 3}/h gas velocity - 2 m/s, average power - 300 kW, pulse repetition rate - up to 2 kHz. The power supply has a module design with the single module power of about 25-50 kW, pulse voltage up to 120 kV, pulse energy of 30 J, pulse length of 500 ns. The pseudospark switch with hold-off voltage up to 100 kV is used in the module. It is supposed that the switch should offer a possibility to transfer a total charge of about 10{sup 7} C.
