Relative excitations of the $sup 237$Pu shape isomers

The excitation energy of the 112O-nsec spontaneous-fission isomer of / sup 237/Pu has been shown to be 0.30 plus or minus O.15 MeV above that of the 82-nsec isomer. Thc half-life of the longer-lived isomer may therefore be determined by its radiation width rather than by its direct fission width. (auth)
