Gamma spectra of fission product mixtures (in German)

Journal Article · · Radiochem. Radioanal. Lett., v. 15, no. 3, pp. 167-175
OSTI ID:4415217
The methods to measure the gamma spectra of fission products are briefly reviewed, and the methods for calculation of the spectra are described. The results are compared with those of other authors on fission products produced by the fission of /sup 235/U with thermal neutrons. After a few days of decay, high-energy components (up to 5 MeV) appear in the spectra of the fission products; these have not been previously reported. In most of the cases the spectra of different types of fission differ from each other to a lesser extent than the spectra of the same type of fission reported by different authors. (3 figures) (auth)
