Absorption of electromagnetic waves at parametric resonances in a magnetoactive plasma

S>Propagation of EM waves at powers 2 to 20W in a waveguide partially fllled with a magnetoactive plasma was investigated experimentally in the range of magnetic fields from zero up to three times the cyclotron resonance field. In investigation of parametric absorption, with intense waves a strong attenuation is observed at values of the magnetic field equal to 3/2, 2, and 5/2 the cyclotron resonance value. (LMT)
