Moessbauer spectrometry with $sup 61$Ni (in Dutch)

ABS>Thesis. A Moessbauer spectrometer, the measurements performed, and the precision attained are described. The ratio of the magnetic moments of the first excited level and the ground state of /sup 61/Ni was studied by measuring the hyperfine structure of the magnetic field in ceriain alloys. The disagreement of the magnetic moments is too great to be explained by a quadrupole interaction. Attempts were made to obtain better agreement by using a spin-spin interaction. (tr-BE)
