Translated from Prib. Tekh. Eksp.; 16: No. 3, 126-127(1973). A circult based on thyristors is described for obtaining the volt-ampere characteristics (v.a.c.) of thermionic converters on an S1-18 oscilloscope using separately controlled bipolar sweep pulses. The range of currents that can be taken off extends up to 2 kA. In order to increase the measurement, accuracy calibration of the oscillograms by means of dc instruments is provided. (auth)
