A computer system for realtime control and data processing at a cyclotron laboratory

The computer system described here is associated with three different tasks: cyclotron control, data acquisition and data evaluation. Hard- and software facilities are discussed. The software for realtime control applications was based on a concept which provides high flexibility and easy adaption to changing requirements.
