Finite range corrections for two-nucleon transfer reactions

n transfer reactions of the type (t,p) or (3He,p) are investigated by means of local WKB theory. A more complete form for the transition potential is used than that used previously. A method convenient for practical calculations is developed and results for the reactions 40Ca(t,p)42Ca and 58Ni(p,t)56Ni are presented. Finite range effects are found to be substantial.
