The results of scientific and engineering studies conducted in Los Angeles County, Calif. in the field of air pollution are compiled and reported. Individual and cooperative studies were undertaken in conjunction with state and local agencies, research institutes, and industrial organizations. The subjects covered include: air contaminants; design of exhaust systems; air pollution control equipment for particulate matter; control equipment for gases and vapors; metallurgical equipment; mechanical equipment; incineration; combustion equipment; petroleum equipment; chemical processing equipment, including radioactive materials processing equipment; and organic solvent emitting equipment.
