Cosmic ray total ionization, 1970--1972

Journal Article · · J. Geophys. Res., v. 78, no. 19, pp. 3958-3960
Yearly measurements of total cosmic ray ionization rate as a function of atmospheric depth have been continued in 1970-1972 at Fort Churchill. Although solar minimum is not expected until 1975-1976, the ionization role in July 1972 was approximately the same as in 1965, the last solar minimum. (auth)
