Quasi-free scattering in the $sup 6$Li(d,dd)$sup 4$He reaction at low bombarding energies

Deuteron-deuteron quasi-free scattering contributions in the /sup 6/Li(d dd)/sup 4/He reaction were measured for deuteron bombarding energies 6-11 MeV. The plane wave impulse approximation does not give a satisfactory description of the measured spectra. The introduction of a radial cut-off gives a better agreement in the shape and absolute magnitude. Extracted clustering probabilities and widths of momentum distributions are compared with results from other quasi-free scattering reactions on /sup 6/Li. (auth)
