Influence of multiple scattering on transition radiation

Translation of Zh. Eksp. Teor. Fiz., Pis'ma Red.; 18: No. 1, 35-39(5 Jul 1973). The results of the measurement of the spectrum of the transition radiation produced when 680-MeV electrons pass through a layered paper radiator are presented. It is shown that multiple scattering of the electrons does not affect the intensity of the transition radiation. ( auth)
