Competition between the emission of photoneutrons and the photofission of $sup 238$U and $sup 232$Th near the threshold (in Portuguese)

Several models were considered to interpret the competition between the emission of photoneutrons and photofission of /sup 238/U and /sup 232/Th. Experimental data showed that the constant temperature'' model gave the best results for exciting energies in the range 6 to 9 MeV. It was observed that above 8.5 MeV the relation is independent of the excitation energy. (auth)
