The longitudinal ({rho}{sub xx}) and transverse resistivities ({rho}{sub xy}) were examined in order to study the effect of flux pinning in the YBa{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub y}/PrBa{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub y} (YBCO/PBCO) superlattices. It was observed that the sign reversal of Hall coefficient R{sub H} diminished with a decreasing thickness of the individual YBCO layer or with increasing thickness of the individual PBCO layer. The exponent {beta} in scaling behavior {rho}{sub xy}{approximately}{rho}{sup {beta}}{sub xx} is magnetic field dependent and the dependence is stronger for a YBCO/PBCO superlattice with a thinner YBCO layer. {copyright} {ital 1997} {ital The American Physical Society}
