Heat exchange installation for a nuclear reactor (in French)

Patent ·
OSTI ID:4386707
>An installation is described in which heat exchange occurs between the primary coolant of a nuclear reactor and a secondary coolant. The installation consists of an exchange array in which a primary fluid flows and is constructed in an elongated cavity provided in the pressure vessel, the secondary coolant flowing this cavity. One of the ends of this cavity is connected the outside by an orifice which can be closed giving access to the array. The primary coolant circuit includes a chamber provided in the vessel in the extension of the other end of the array. This chamber has a diameter smaller than that of the cavity and is connected to the collector of the array outlet by a pipe and to the reactor by a return duct. (FR)
