The structure of zirconium alloys in states of equilibrium and nonequilibrium is examined. The structure in the state of equilibrium is analyzed from structural diagrams of binary and ternary systems on a zirconium base. General rules are given for the formation of metastable phases in zirconium alloys and the structure of alloys in a nonequilibrium state in phase diagrams of binary and ternary alloys.
