The topics included cover all aspects of coal gasification that concern the use of coal gas as a fuel or feedstock. Desulturization of coal by gasification is not covered unless the use of the gas is discussed. Also presented are in situ combustion studies on removing coal from its deposits by underground gasification. (auth)
