The review is in four chapters entitled: the early transition metals (titanium, zirconium and hafnium, vanadium, niobium and tantalum, chromium, molybdenum and tungsten, technetium and rhenium); elements of the first transitional period (manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel, copper, ligands, formation and stability constants); the noble metals (ruthenium, osmium, rhedium, iridium, palladium, platinum, silver, gold); the lanthanides (including scandium and yttrium) and the actinides. The section on technetium and rhenium and the section on the actinides are in NSA scope, and separate abstracts were prepared for the two of them. (UK)
