Book ·
OSTI ID:4370356
The procedure for the boiling ferric sulfate-50% sulfuric acid test for measuring the susceptibility of certain nickel-rich, chromium-bearing alloys to intergranular attack is described. The boiling ferric sulfate- sulfuric acid test may be applied to the following alloys in the wrought condition: Hastelloy Alloy C, Hastelloy Alloy C-276, Hastelloy Alloy G, Carpenter Stainless No. 20 Cb- 3, Inconel Alloy 600, Inconel Alloy 625, Incoloy Alloy 800, and Incoloy Alloy 825.
