ABS>A rotating cover is described for a nuclear reactor cooled by a liquid metal, such as liquid sodium, which serves as a convection barrier to prevent the penetration of sodium vapors into the interior of the reactor. This cover is characterized by the fact that it is supported in such a fashion that it can be raised or lowered on a collar that is located in the interior of the reactor. (TSS)
